Queen Mary of Denmark attended HjerneSagen's 30th anniversary and presided over the presentation of this year's research grant. The event took place at DGI Huset in Vejle. The Queen handed out Hjernesagen's Research Grant to physiotherapist and PhD student Birgitte Hede Ebbesen, who, among other things, does research on passing blood clots in the brain.
Afterwards, the Queen handed out Hjernesagen's Honorary Award to AfasiGruppen's Kenneth Bremer, Peter Meyer and Yago Bundgaard, who have made a great effort for people with low ability to speak and communicate as a result of stroke. The Queen has been patron of HjerneSagen since 2007. HjerneSagen is a national association working for people affected by coronary thrombosis or cerebral hemorrhage, other people with brain damage, their relatives and other persons interested.

It is time I am taking my light blue linen blazer out of my closet. Until now it has been too cold to wear a light blazer. This morning it was 9° degrees C. Now it is 13° C and very cloudy. No sunshine at all. But it doesn't rain, which can make me happy.

A Scandi here I didn't have 26-27°. Nice, warm and sunny, but far from 27. Scandinavia is big just like the rest of the world 😉

The jacket and the shirt look smart but imho the pants appear to be too baggy and long.

The Queen looks fantastic, don’t like pantsuits in one color but this looks great, make up is fresh hair maybe a bit to much in her face.

Very nice fresh look. Pretty light blue blazer and I really like the belt.

Très rafraîchissant le look de Mary après qu'elle ait combiné le bleu clair de son blazer avec le blanc du pantalon très bien coupé ; belle touche que la ceinture !

Always difficult to find a “quibble” about the Queen’s outfits.
If they pushed my arm up my back and said “talk, or else”, I’d say the jacket could look better in a softer frabric.
From the photos, the pants and blouse seem to be in a fine, soft fabric.
The jacket, however, (linen ?) is too brut IMO.
Congratulations to the research team who received the award.Anonymous3/6/24 16:29
Very nice outfit for Mary and she looks great. Still not a big fan of wide legged pants only because if I wore them I’d be tripping on them!

She’s definitely charming, stylish and incredibly beautiful, but the “winner” (if we can say) is undoubtedly Queen Letizia. In her outfit there’s always a great harmony in colors and shapes with the addition of an original touch.

Tell that to Queen Mary’s Australian fan club.
You’ll have kangaroos bashing your front door down.
Oh! forgot to ask ..... who is Queen Letizia? 😀

Very pretty blazer , blouse and belt . I think she is a great queen.

I like the overall look - it is the Summer version of 'smart casual', and the colours allude to this as well. I'm curious about the fabric of the blazer - is it cotton, linen or possibly chambray?

The blazer and crisp white shirt look good. I realize the fashion is baggy pants, but I am not a fan of them, regardless she looks lovely.

Loads of comments about what Queen Mary was wearing but none about the good work she was supporting - have we become that shallow? I hope not!
