This position provides hands-on technical design, hands-on development, and team leadership to the Ford Pro CRM Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud engineering team. A keen understanding of what's possible, balanced with an eye to best practices and development processes is needed to bring success. Work you’ll do

  • Deliver Salesforce solutions on Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and other related technology platforms

  • Play technical SME role on projects to design Marketing Cloud Solutions, provide technical walk-throughs to other developers and client feature owners

  • Provide technical leadership on projects by providing necessary guidance to junior team members to follow Salesforce best practices

  • Accountable for Marketing Cloud technical delivery - Build, System Testing handover/co-ordination, Tech. documentation and deployment activities

  • Support Product Managers in reviewing features/user-stories, convert functional requirements to technical requirements, estimate user stories, plan team capacity and work closely with PM to finalize iteration scope

  • Ability to analyze/identify gaps in functional/business requirements, discuss with functional and business product owners on required changes that aligns with the Marketing Cloud and Salesforce product stack and architecture

  • Leverage integrations between Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On.

  • Leverage Non-production environments, and migrate changes from lower environments to production environment(s).

  • Define solution and configuration review methodology, perform independent reviews and certify metadata developed by self and other junior team members on the project.

  • Manage technical risks and issues as well as cross dependencies with other teams. Communicate effectively with internal teams and client to address technical design and functional gaps.

  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve technical issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system.

  • Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required.

  • Works closely with the Product Managers to include continuous technical improvement in the Product Line roadmap

  • Collaborates with other Product Anchors to reduce complexity across the portfolio, enhance interoperability between services, and make key design decisions across the portfolio.

  • Ensures engineering excellence (e.g. best practices and quality) is achieved within product group.

  • Clearly communicate technology strategy and vision to team members and internal and external stakeholders

  • Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile and user-centric perspective

You'll have...

Skills required:

  • 6+ years of overall experience in Marketing Cloud implementation in Sales Cloud and Service.

  • Experience in a Data Management role, using Conceptual Data models, Logical Data models, High level Design & Low-Level Design.

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud solution design, development, and integrations with other Salesforce products

  • Lead solution design, architecture, and delivery for enterprise-level projects

  • Interact directly with client stakeholders and business end users to analyze their business

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce relevant technologies: Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and other Salesforce ecosystem products and solutions

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with ability to present ideas in a clear manner to non-Salesforce teams

  • Strong sense of ownership with the motivation to build and maintain operational excellence

  • Salesforce Certifications

Preferred:

  • Experience of building in Agile Development Methodology

  • Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud experience

  • Technical team lead experience
