Philip Rodrigs is offering up his small-cap expertise to the wider market six years after leaving his previous employer River and Mercantile under a cloud.

The launch of the Raynar UK Smaller Companies fund, which Rodrigs is setting up through his investment firm Raynar Investment Management, comes after a tough period for UK small caps.

However, with the UK going to the polls next month, Rodrigs believes things could be about to take a turn for the better, seeing ‘multiple catalysts aligning’ in the UK small-cap space.
